Modern Classics is finally open for business! Here's a letter from the owner.
It has been seven months since Vespa Washington closed, four and a half months since we signed our lease and nearly two months since we filed for our business license but Modern Classics is now open for business!
We would like to thank everyone for their patience during this incredibly long hiatus and look forward to feeding and caring for your two-wheeled addictions. For those who don't know Modern Classics is a 6033 square foot facility located in NE DC that services most makes of scooters and motorcycles and sells quality gear and accessories from notable brands such as AGV, ICON, Rev-It, Alpinestars, OnGuard and more.
We are currently under negotiations with our OEM suppliers but you can expect that our location will also sell new and used motorcycles and scooters. Currently we have three vintage Lambretta scooters, one vintage Vespa, a vintage California sidecar and a more modern Vespa ET2 that are for sale. We can sell your motorcycle or scooter on consignment, perform pre-purchase inspections on bikes before you purchase them and we offer a bike locator service for those looking for a particular bike but do not have the time to track it down.
Come visit us at 955 V Street NE; Washington, DC 20018. You can also call us at 202-248-1926.
Again, everyone at Modern Classics would like to thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing and riding with you soon.
Ride safe,
Wellesley (and Gerry, Greg, Trey and Tom)
