Bedouin SoundclashBedouin Soundclash has a lot going on for the upcoming year - a new album, a new label, a solo project, and more!  They'll be launching Pirates Blend Records, which will be distributed by Sony Canada beginning in early 2010.  They are also working on a new album slated for release toward the end of this coming summer.

Pirates Blend will also feature new Bedouin Soundclash remixes from bands like Bad Brains, King Britt, Nostalgia 77, and more in March.

Singer, Jay Malinowski, is releasing a solo album entitled Bright Lights & Bruises.  The album contains quieter, more folk-based songs with lyrics are deep and cathartic.  You can check out some of the songs (and more about the solo album) on his MySpace page - http://www.myspace.com/jaymalinowski  The album will be released on February 16, 2010.  In March, Jay will be on tour across Canada to support the new release.  He will also be running with the Olympic Torch in Vancouver on February 12th.

Sekou Lumumba will be playing drums for Bedouin Soundclash in the upcoming year, as well.
