Stuff for a NJ/NYC ska kid to do in DC 2/13-2/18 ? 2010/02/05 19:06 Karma: 0
First! Props to what you guys are doing in DC. You guys have an awesome site!

I booked tickets for my friends and I to check out DC from Febuary 12th (night) through the 18th (leaving mid day).

Saturday through Thursday

None of us are tourists and we try to take in cities through shows and things regular people do..

I think the only taste of DC ska I ever got was Eastern Standard Time in May. Awesome band

Any suggestions? (I'm 18)

First of all, whatever you do, do not see The Moderators. But you should definitely stay in NYC and check out my new reggae band (which is still unnamed...).

Haha I wish I was there for The Moderators

Send me some shows/recordings and I'll definitely check you out in NYC

Ethan@TheConcertEye.com is my email

I really like your version of Wave but I need more reggae

Not the prime time of year to check out shows in any US city.

If you're under 21, then that's going to limit your fun. There are however plenty of cool museums in DC and you won't have as many tourists to contend with.
